Ben has an extensive knowledge both musical theater and straight play, as well as a large collection of sheet music and plays. With Ben’s help, your audition book will be filled with self-tailored songs that will have you prepared for auditions for The Pirates of Penzance to Hamilton and everything in between.

AUDITION COACHING

Because he’s worked on both sides of the table, Ben knows that auditioning can cause even the most well-prepared actors to become nervous. Ben’s has coached all ages and specializes in coaching young artists preparing for performing arts high school and higher education auditions. Some of the people Ben has coached have been accepted into New York University, Emerson College, Ithaca College, Columbia College of Chicago and Point Park University.

YOUTH COACHING

While Ben coaches all ages, Ben specializes in coaching young actors. He currently works as a teaching artist teaching Musical Theater, Musical Theater Wring and Improvisation, with Broadway Bound Kids . Ben has also taught with Atlantic Theater company’s Atlantic for Kids program, and was Acting Drama Department Head at Lake Owego for Boys. Ben’s goal is to teach his students the fundamentals of proper vocal technique and vocal performance and to apply those fundamentals in a way that is easy to understand. Ben will coach your young performer for everything from school plays and local theater performances to performing arts high schools and higher.
